Description / Scope of Work
The Directorate General of Archaeology, Government of the Punjab invites electronic bids through ePADS for the development of a diversion road with rigid pavement at Taxila Gateway in Taxila District, Rawalpindi. The project is valued at Rs. 27.954 million with a completion deadline of 31 July 2026. This procurement is being conducted under the Preservation, Restoration, Improvement, Management and Upgradation of Taxila initiative. The work encompasses rigid pavement construction and related horticulture works at the specified location in Punjab province.
Eligible bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in Category C-5 or above and possess field specialization in CE-01, CE-02, CE-10 (Horticulture Works), and EE06. Firms are required to demonstrate relevant experience in rigid pavement and horticulture works. The bid security requirement is 5% of the estimated cost, to be submitted as a CDR or Bank Guarantee in favor of the Director General Archaeology. All bids must include a scanned copy of the earnest money instrument, with original documents submitted to the office of Director General Archaeology at 60-A, Garden Block, Garden Town, Lahore before bid opening.
Bidding documents are available at www.Punjab.eprocure.gov.pk and www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Complete electronic bids must be submitted online by 08 June 2026 at 02:00 PM, with technical bid opening scheduled for the same date at 02:30 PM. The procurement follows the Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure as per PPRA Rules 2014. All bidders must quote rates against each item in the DNIT/BOQs with completely filled rate analysis pages; incomplete bids will be rejected. The work will be awarded to the lowest evaluated bidder after correction of arithmetical errors.
