Description / Scope of Work
The District & Sessions Judge, Bahawalpur invites electronic bids for the solarization of an off-grid hybrid solar power system comprising 53 units of 4 kilowatt capacity each across multiple locations in Bahawalpur district. The project covers installations at Bahawalpur headquarters, Ahmadpur East, Hasilpur, Khairpur Tamewali, and Yazman. The estimated cost of this procurement is Rs. 50.35 million for the financial year 2025-2026. This is a single-stage, single-envelope tender process conducted under Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 and Punjab Electronic Procurement Regulations 2022.
Bidders must be registered firms, companies, suppliers, manufacturers, or authorized agents and dealers engaged in trading, and must hold valid registrations with relevant authorities including income tax and sales tax departments. The bid security requirement is 5% of the estimated cost, equivalent to Rs. 25,17,500, submitted as CDR, bank guarantee, demand draft, or pay order from any scheduled bank in favour of the District & Sessions Judge, Bahawalpur. Upon acceptance, successful bidders shall deposit a performance guarantee of 5% of the total contract value. E-bid validity is 90 days, and repeat orders shall not exceed 15% of the original procurement.

Electronic bids must be submitted online through the EPADS system before 10:00 AM on 08 June 2026, with opening scheduled for 11:00 AM the same day in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Bidders are strongly advised to upload bids well before the submission deadline. Income tax and sales tax registration certificates must accompany financial bids.
