Electrification work

University of Swat, Office of the Treasurer, Store/Procurement Section invites sealed tender bids for the supply and installation of laboratory equipment. The tender is open to eligible firms with a demonstrated track record of successfully completing two relevant projects in government, semi-government, or autonomous organizations. Bidders must quote rates against each item as specified in the bill of quantities, with all prices quoted on F.O.R basis in Pakistani Rupees inclusive of all taxes, freight, and delivery to University of Swat's Store Section.

Eligible bidders must submit a call deposit (earnest money) at the rate of two percent of the total quoted amount along with a tender fee of Rs. 4,000 deposited in National Bank of Pakistan account No. 3244316617 (NBP Main Branch Saidu Sharif Swat, Branch Code 1330). Income tax and sales tax will be deducted at source. For electrical, IT, and laboratory equipment, bidders must provide a warranty period of at least one year, while expendable items require one-month warranty from the completion certificate date. Retention money of ten percent will be deducted from running bills and released after successful completion of the defect liability period.

The successful bidder must supply and install equipment within the stipulated timeframe as mentioned in the supply order, failing which a penalty of 0.067 percent per day will be imposed up to a maximum of ten percent of the total contract amount. Bid documents must be signed and stamped on all pages, and no overwriting, cutting, or corrections are permitted. All prices must remain valid for at least one hundred twenty days from the tender opening date. Bids received after the prescribed submission deadline will be returned unopened. The Competent Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders, and the purchase order will be awarded to the most advantageous technically recommended bidder based on the grand total.
