Description / Scope of Work
Municipal Committee Khushab invites sealed tenders on item rates basis for execution of works related to arrangements for Muhram-ul-Haram 2026. The project encompasses construction and repair of PCC slab, drain, tuff paver, and culverts on Muharam routes; provision and laying of stone dust on Muharam routes; and supply and erection of street light material within the jurisdiction of Municipal Committee Khushab, Punjab. The estimated total cost is 2.578 million Pakistani rupees. Three distinct work packages are being tendered: construction/repair of PCC slab and related infrastructure estimated at 1,058,600 rupees with CDR of 52,930 rupees; stone dust provision and laying estimated at 650,000 rupees with CDR of 32,500 rupees; and street light material supply and erection estimated at 870,000 rupees with CDR of 43,500 rupees.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered firms or contractors holding valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) license of the respective category for the year 2025-26 and maintaining active taxpayer status with PRA, FBR, and income tax authorities through 30 June 2026. Bidders must submit 5 percent earnest money in the form of CDR from any scheduled bank in Punjab in favour of the Chief Officer Municipal Committee Khushab. Original CDR submission is mandatory at tender opening, three hours before bid opening at the Municipal Committee Khushab office; failure to submit within stipulated time results in disqualification.
Tender documents are available for download from E-Pads platform from the publication date until 30 June 2026. Bids must be submitted through E-Pads by 01:00 PM on the closing date. All bids will be opened on the same date at 1:30 PM in the office of Municipal Committee Khushab in presence of available contractors and authorized representatives. Bidders must quote rates item-wise in numbers and words on the standard bidding document provided; no percentage rates will be accepted. Incomplete, unsigned, or unfilled bids will be rejected automatically. If the lowest bid exceeds 5 percent of estimated cost, additional performance security must be deposited within 15 days of notification.
