Description / Scope of Work
District Health Authority Gujrat invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for a comprehensive framework contract covering local purchase of medicines including surgical and disposable items, laboratory kits and chemicals, dental materials, general store items, medical gases, stationary items, X-ray films and chemicals, and printing and publications materials. This procurement is for use in health facilities under the control of District Health Authority Gujrat in Punjab province. The tender comprises eight lots with a combined estimated cost of approximately 20.8 million Pakistani rupees, with individual lot values ranging from 1 million to 4.8 million rupees. The Tehsil Head Quarter Hospital Kharian, located in Gujrat, will coordinate the procurement process on behalf of the authority.
Bidders must submit separate technical and financial proposals in sealed envelopes following single-stage two-envelope bidding procedures as per Punjab PFR-2014 Rule 38(a). Each bidder is required to provide a Credential Verification Report (CDR) of quoted items to the office of the Medical Superintendent. Bid security equivalent to three percent of estimated cost is required for each lot. All rates must be inclusive of government taxes and duties where applicable. Bidders should quote prices according to the enclosed item lists and must provide product samples according to specifications if requested by the purchase committee. Substandard items, broken seals, and substitutions are not acceptable.
Tender documents are available free of cost at http://www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk/ and http://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk/. Bids must be submitted online through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) portal at http://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk/ by 15th June 2026 at 11:30 AM. Tender opening will occur the same day at the office of the Medical Superintendent. All bids remain valid for ninety days from submission date. The successful bidder must supply items within ten working days from the date of supply orders, with late delivery penalties of two percent per month or 0.067 percent per day applicable.
