grid-tied solar photovoltaic systems

The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, Faisalabad Campus, is soliciting expressions of interest from qualified contractors, firms, companies and joint ventures for pre-qualification to undertake financing, investment, design, supply, installation, operation and maintenance services for grid-tied solar photovoltaic (PV) systems at the campus. The project will be executed under a Build, Operate, Lease and Transfer (BOLT) model with a deferred payment arrangement over 15 years through a hire purchase agreement. This is a significant renewable energy initiative aimed at reducing operational costs and environmental impact at the institution's Faisalabad location in Punjab province.

Interested parties must possess relevant experience in solar photovoltaic system implementation and related infrastructure projects. Pre-qualification will be conducted in accordance with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (as amended) through an electronic tendering process via the PPRA portal. Applicants are required to register their firms online at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk and submit all required pre-qualification documents including technical qualifications, financial capacity, and experience certificates. A complete pre-qualification document (PQD) in English is available on the PPRA website (www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk), UET website (www.uet.edu.pk), and the EPADS portal at no cost.

The complete expression of interest application must be submitted online via the E-PAD Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) portal at https://punjab.eproc ure.gov.pk by 15 June 2026 at 11:30 AM. Queries or clarifications regarding the pre-qualification document may be submitted through the L-PADS portal before 07 July 2026. The EOIs will be opened on the same day in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
