Description / Scope of Work
Paharpur Irrigation Division, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed bids through the E-PAK Accusom and Disposal System (EPADS) for improvement, solarization and augmentation of existing sump wells and pump houses in District D.I. Khan. The project encompasses four primary sub-works: improvement and solarization of thirty-eight existing sump wells under Paharpur Irrigation Division with an estimated cost of Rs. 108.19 million; improvement and supply of pumping machinery with solarization and electrical supply to curtail water shortage in Takarwah Disty valued at Rs. 29.16 million; improvement of Kot Hafiz Disty with solar and electrical installation to lift water from Main Drain with an estimated cost of Rs. 27.14 million; and improvement and rehabilitation of Pumping Station No. II under Paharpur Irrigation Division valued at Rs. 8.95 million. The total project scope addresses water resource management and renewable energy integration across multiple irrigation facilities.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to be approved contractors of the Irrigation Department with renewed registration from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority and valid Pakistan Engineering Council license for the financial year 2025-26. Bidders must hold mandatory category registrations as specified for respective work items. Bid security equivalent to two percent of the estimated cost plus stamp duty must be submitted through scheduled bank call deposits in favor of the Executive Engineer, Paharpur Irrigation Division. All bidders must agree to complete terms and conditions outlined in the bid solicitation documents and provide manufacturer's authorization certificates for solar panels, inverters, pumps and motors where applicable.
Bid documents must be uploaded through the EPADS portal (https://kp.eprocure.gov.pk/) before the closing date of June 22, 2026 at 1:00 PM. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the office of the Executive Engineer. Prospective bidders should quote rates on both MRS and Non-MRS components and submit bar-chart programmes detailing project sequencing.
