Description / Scope of Work
WAPDA's CRBC (Lift Cum Gravity) Project invites e-bids for a turnkey contract covering the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of off-grid solar systems in D.I. Khan. The procurement scope includes a 20kW off-grid solar system with LiFePO4 batteries, wiring, protection, earthing and lightning protection for the CRBC Project Office; a 5kW off-grid solar system for Wapda Basic Health Unit in CRBC Colony; and solar charging kits for ten rooms each comprising MPPT solar charge controllers and solar panels, plus a 2.0 kW solar inverter (UPS type) for kitchen and dining facilities. All work must be completed within thirty days. The project is located in D.I. Khan, Punjab, and funded under FY 2025-26 reserved procurement allocations for the Decade of Dams initiative.
Eligible bidders must be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax departments and possess a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) license in Category C-6 or above with specialization code EE11. All bids must be accompanied by bid security of Rs. 140,000 in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) made payable to the Chief Engineer/Project Director, CRBC (LCG) Project, D.I. Khan, and delivered physically before the bid submission deadline. The procurement will follow a Single Stage-One Envelope process using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with Public Procurement Rules 2004.
E-bidding documents with detailed terms, conditions, specifications and requirements are available on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/. Bidders must submit e-bids using EPADS v2.0 on or before 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 18, 2026, with bid opening scheduled for 11:30 AM the same day. Manual bid submissions will not be accepted. Vendors not yet registered on EPADS v2.0 may register at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/ with tutorial support available.
