Description / Scope of Work
Punjab Life Insurance Company (PLIC) invites sealed bids for the procurement of card printing machines and related consumables under single stage one envelope bidding procedure as per Rule 38(1) of PPR 2014. The procurement includes two high-definition 600 DPI retransfer card printers with industrial-grade specifications capable of minimum 230 cards per hour (YMCK), sixty rolls of high-yield monochrome black ribbons yielding 3,000 images per roll, one hundred twenty rolls of clear retransfer HDP film yielding 1,500 images per roll, and thirty preventive maintenance cleaning kits. The contract shall be valid until 30th June 2027 with extendable provisions by mutual consent, and quoted rates shall remain fixed for one year from contract signing. This procurement is managed from the Procurement Department in Lahore, Punjab.
Bidders must submit bid security in both scanned format through EPADS and hard copy format as a cheque in favour of Punjab Life Insurance Company (PLIC) to the Procurement Department office located at Pakistan Engineering Congress Building, 1st Floor, Plot No. 97-A/D 1 Liberty Market Gulberg III, Lahore, well before the bid closing deadline. Failure to submit hard copy bid security before the closing timeline will result in automatic rejection of the bid furnished on EPADS. All interested vendors must ensure compliance with these submission requirements.
Request for Bid documents are available from the PPRA Punjab website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk from the publication date. Sealed bids must be submitted through EPADS portal not later than 1100 hours on or before 16th June 2026. All bidders are required to furnish complete technical specifications, commercial offers, and required documentation as per the prescribed bid forms provided in the RFB documents.
