Description / Scope of Work
WAPDA invites sealed bids from eligible contractors and firms for the position of General Manager and Project Director for the Dasu Hydropower Project located in Dasu District, Kohistan (Upper), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Applicants must be registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and included on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue. The position requires demonstrated expertise in hydropower project management and rental basis hiring arrangements as outlined in the detailed bidding documents. Bid security is required at Rs. 5,000,000 (Five Million) in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt payable to the General Manager or Project Director, Dasu Hydropower Project WAPDA.
Eligible contractors and firms must possess valid tax registrations and maintain active taxpayer status throughout the bidding process. The bid security of five million rupees must be submitted with bid documents to ensure serious participation. All interested bidders are required to acknowledge their participation in the bidding procedure via email to xen.cst@dasuhpp.com at least two working days prior to the submission deadline for security clearance purposes. Bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions and technical requirements are available for purchase at the Office of the General Manager and Project Director, Dasu Hydropower Project WAPDA, Dasu District, Kohistan (Upper), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, priced at Rs. 1,500.
Bidding documents can be downloaded from www.dasuhpp.com at no cost. Sealed bids prepared in accordance with instructions provided in bidding documents must reach the office of the General Manager and Project Director, Dasu Hydropower Project WAPDA, Chuchang, Dasu, District Kohistan (Upper), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on or before June 15, 2026 at 12:00 PM. Bid opening will occur on the same day at 12:30 PM in the presence of bidders or their designated representatives. The advertisement is also available on PPRA and WAPDA websites.
