Description / Scope of Work
DHQ Hospital Chiniot invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for a framework contract covering day-to-day local purchase of medicines, surgical items, and disposables during the financial year 2026-27. The procurement is funded through PBM and Zakat Fund with an estimated cost of 25 million Pakistani rupees, comprising 20 million from the general fund (15% LP allocation) and 5 million from PBM+Zakat sources. This framework contract is issued by the Medical Superintendent of DHQ Hospital Chiniot, a government healthcare facility in Punjab, and is intended to ensure continuous availability of essential medical supplies to support hospital operations throughout the fiscal year.
Bidders must be registered on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) as a mandatory prerequisite for participation. All bidders are required to submit bid security at two percent of the estimated cost in the form of an original Cash Deposit Receipt to the office of the Medical Superintendent by the closing date and time. The bidding process shall be conducted through a Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure in strict compliance with the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014, as amended to date. Only bidders meeting the eligibility criteria and submission requirements will be considered for evaluation.
Bidding documents are available for free download from the PPRA website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk and the EPADS portal at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk/. Electronic bids must be uploaded and submitted by 22-06-2026 at 12:00 PM on the EPADS system, with late bids not entertained under any circumstances. All bids received by the stipulated deadline shall be opened on the same day at 12:30 PM.
