Description / Scope of Work
DHQ Teaching Hospital KDA Kohat invites electronic bids through the E-PADS Acquisition and Disposal System from firms and suppliers registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Department for the procurement of various consumable and capital items for the fiscal year 2026-2027. The procurement includes chemical and laboratory kits, reagents, contingency materials, medical gas, washing materials, dental consumable items, zakat and bait-ul-mal supplies, X-ray films, bedding and clothing, stationery, printing and publications, carpenter and electrical services, as well as water supply and hardware items. The total estimated value of this comprehensive procurement exceeds Rs. 1.3 million in bid securities across multiple line items, with individual item security ranging from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 300,000. This procurement shall be conducted in accordance with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority KPPRA Procurement Rules 2014.
Bidders must be registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) for works and services. Bid security instruments shall be submitted in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (original) to the office of the Medical Superintendent at DHQ Teaching Hospital Kohat before the e-bid submission closing time. All e-bids must be prepared in accordance with the detailed instructions contained in the bidding documents and submitted through the E-PADS portal. The competent authority reserves the right to reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to acceptance as provided under Rule 47 of the KPPRA Procurement Rules 2014.
Detailed e-bidding documents containing specifications, terms, conditions, and requirements are available for registered bidders on the E-PADS platform at https://eprocure.gov.pk. Electronic bids must be submitted on or before June 25, 2026 until 11:00 am, with electronic bids opening scheduled for the same day at 12:00 pm. Manual bids shall not be accepted. Scanned copies of all required documents must be uploaded through E-PADS at the time of e-bid submission. The approved rates will remain valid until June 30, 2027 under KPPRA Rule 31(A) pertaining to framework contracts and agreements.
