Description / Scope of Work
DHQ Hospital Chiniot, Government of Punjab, invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for a framework contract for day-to-day local purchase of medicines, disposables, and surgical items during the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is funded through PBM and Zakat Fund resources, covering an estimated cost of PKR 25 million (with 15% allocation to low-priority items and 20 million baseline, with 5 million from PBM and Zakat Funds). The framework contract will supply essential medical and surgical items to DHQ Hospital Chiniot in Punjab on an as-needed basis throughout the contract period.
Bidders must be registered on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) as a mandatory prerequisite for participation. Bid security of 2% of the estimated cost must be submitted in the form of an original CDR to the office of the Medical Superintendent, DHQ Hospital Chiniot, by the submission deadline. The bidding process shall follow the Single Stage – Two Envelope procedure as per rule 38(2) of Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 as amended to date. All bidders are required to meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the bidding document.
Bidding documents are available for free download from the PPRA website (www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk) and the EPADS portal (https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk/). E-bids must be submitted through EPADS by 22 June 2026 at 12:00 PM; late bids shall not be entertained. Bid opening will occur on the same day at 12:30 PM on the EPADS platform.
