Description / Scope of Work
The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Irrigation Department invites sealed bids for restoration, rehabilitation and improvement of canal systems and irrigation infrastructure across multiple projects in the Peshawar Irrigation Circle under ADP No. 2100 for the fiscal year 2025-26. The bid solicitation encompasses ten sub-works with a combined estimated cost of approximately 323.678 million rupees, including rehabilitation and improvement of side walls along Kabul River Canal, solarization of Zakhi and Wazir Garhi Lift Irrigation Schemes in Nowshera district, rehabilitation of Jue Zardad Canal and associated structures, installation of escape gates on Jue Sheikh Canal and Shahi Mahal Minor, improvement of multiple Kathas (water channels), and flood protection works along Chinkar Nullah and Bara River in Peshawar district. Additional works involve restoration of the Trifurcator along Takhta Baig Khwar with allied structures in Peshawar district. Individual project costs range from 5 million to 64.99 million rupees.
Bidders must possess valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration in categories C-5 or C-6 and above, with relevant specialized codes as specified for each work including CE-04, CE-10, EE-11, and ME-07 full codes or equivalent sub-codes. Bid security shall be two percent of the estimated cost for each respective work. Contractors must demonstrate appropriate work capacity and construction cost limits as per PEC guidelines. All bidders must comply with KP Public Procurement Rules 2014 and relevant PEC eligibility criteria.
