Description / Scope of Work
The Local Government and Rural Development Department, District Upper Chitral, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed tenders through EPADS for five uplift and beautification activities under ADP No.944/250164(2025-26) with a combined estimated cost of 100 million rupees. The works include improvement of Family Park Booni valued at 15 million rupees, installation of signboards and dustbin and wall improvements at Booni Bazar for 15 million rupees, uplift activities on Link Road and Solar Street Lights at Bulan Iasht Bridge to DC Office Booni for 20 million rupees, similar improvements on link roads at Raho Chinar to Kuri Junali and Food Street Road for 20 million rupees, and footpath development with seating areas and amenities at Upper Chitral for 30 million rupees. These projects aim to enhance public spaces and infrastructure across District Upper Chitral.
Bidders must be registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Act 2013 and with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in relevant categories. Bid security at two percent of the estimated cost is required, with additional security mandates for bids quoted below the engineer's estimate. Contractors quoting up to ten percent below estimate must submit bid security at two percent of estimate; those quoting ten to twenty percent below must provide eight percent additional security alongside the two percent bid security. All bidders must possess PEC registration and KPRA clearance certificates. Detailed rate analysis with supporting documents must accompany all bids submitted through EPADS.
Bidding documents are available for download from the official EPADS website (www.portalkp.procure.gov.pk) from the date of notice publication. Filled bid documents, securities, and rate analysis must be scanned and uploaded on EPADS by 12:00 PM on 23rd June 2026. Original call deposits with detailed rate analysis and supporting documents should be submitted through courier to the Office of Assistant Director Senior LG&RDD, Upper Chitral, before the bid closing time. Electronic bids will be opened at 12:30 PM on 23rd June 2026. Online clarification is available up to 5:00 PM on 16th June 2026. Work order will be issued upon tender approval and fund availability from the Provincial Government. All bids remain valid for 120 days from closing date. Contractors must adhere to KPPRA Act 2014 and relevant rules.
