Description / Scope of Work
Metropolitan Corporation Lahore invites bids for special repair and rehabilitation works of its office building located at the Infra Branch in Samanabad. This procurement encompasses fifteen separate road rehabilitation, reconstruction, and maintenance projects across various zones within Lahore including Wahga, Shalimar, Data Gunj Bukhsh, Ravi, Aziz Bhatti, Samanabad, Gulberg, Allama Iqbal, Nishtar, and Headquarters areas. The estimated total value ranges from Rs 11.10 million to Rs 99.58 million per individual project, with completion periods of 60 days for all works. Projects include rehabilitation and reconstruction of main roads with link roads, improvement painting and lane marking of center median footpaths, rehabilitation of footpaths on main and sub-main roads, and lane marking with painting of kerb stones across multiple zones.
Eligible firms and contractors must be registered or renewed with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category ranging from C-4 & Above to C-6 & Above depending on the specific project. This is a single stage one envelope bidding procedure, and bidders are required to meet PEC registration requirements as specified for each individual work package. All bidders must conduct due diligence regarding project specifications, site conditions, and technical requirements before submitting their proposals.
Bid documents are available from Metropolitan Corporation Lahore for the Samanabad project with bid receiving time at 10:30 AM and bid opening time at 11:00 AM on 19 June 2026. Interested contractors should contact the Corporation for detailed bidding documents, project specifications, and submission procedures. The bidding process follows PPRA legal framework guidelines, and in case of any conflict between bidding document provisions and PPRA regulations, the latter shall prevail.
