Description / Scope of Work
The National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) invites sealed electronic bids for the deployment of GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) optical fiber cable (OFC) network infrastructure across multiple strategic locations in Sindh province. The project scope encompasses laying of optical distribution networks at nine sites including CM House Karachi, Sindh Secretariat Karachi, Governor House Karachi, Central Prison Karachi, PTV Station Karachi, Pak Capital Exchange Karachi, FBR Gulshan Karachi, Hyderabad Division (multiple locations), and Sujawal District. This comprehensive infrastructure project is being advertised through the Electronic Procurement and Auction Device System (EPADS) at www.eprocure.gov.pk and represents significant investment in telecommunications modernization across the Karachi, Hyderabad and Sujawal regions.
Bidders must meet specified qualification criteria including technical competency and relevant experience in optical fiber network deployment. A bid security deposit is mandatory for participation, and all bids must remain valid for a defined period as stipulated in the tender documents. Interested contractors should review the commercial compliance statement requirements and ensure submission of all mandatory declarations including beneficial owners' information and performance security documentation.
The e-bidding documents are available through EPADS portal for download by registered users. Bids must be submitted electronically through the same platform before the closing deadline. The bid opening process will be conducted as per procurement regulations, with evaluation based on responsiveness, technical qualifications, and most advantageous bidder criteria. Detailed bill of quantities, layout diagrams for all sites, and technical specifications are provided in the tender annexes.
