Description / Scope of Work
The Deputy District Education Officer M-EE Sialkot invites sealed tenders for the procurement of desktop computers and related items. This is a competitive tender for the purchase of computing equipment with an estimated project value of PKR 50,00,000 (50 million Pakistani Rupees). The procurement is being undertaken in Sialkot, Punjab province, through the EPADS (e-Pak Acquisition and Disposable System) electronic bidding platform. The scope includes supply and delivery of desktop computer systems meeting specified technical requirements for the education department's operations in the district.
Eligible bidders must be well-reputed, financially sound, and technically capable firms, suppliers, or manufacturers with adequate managerial capacity. All participating bidders must be duly registered with both the Income Tax Department and Sales Tax Department of Pakistan. A bid security of 2 percent of the estimated cost, amounting to PKR 100,000, must be submitted in the form of a Bank Guarantee, Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), or Demand Draft made payable to the Deputy District Education Officer M-EE Sialkot. The original bid security must be physically submitted at the designated address one hour before the bid closing time. All quoted prices must be inclusive of all applicable taxes including GST and income tax, calculated in Pakistani Rupees.
Interested bidders can download the bidding documents free of cost from www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk and https://Punjab eprocure.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted electronically through the EPADS platform by 17 June 2026 at 03:00 PM. A single stage one envelope bidding procedure will be followed, with bid opening scheduled for the same day at 04:00 PM in the presence of bidders. All procurement activities, including bid evaluation and award, will be governed by the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 as amended from time to time. Only bids submitted through EPADS will be accepted, and bidders must submit samples if demanded by the technical committee. The Authority reserves the right to cancel tender proceedings at any stage.
