Description / Scope of Work
The District & Sessions Judge, Jhang invites electronic bids for the solarization of courts through installation of off-grid hybrid solar systems across three locations in Jhang District, Punjab. The tender comprises three lots with a combined estimated value of approximately Rs. 38 million: Lot 01 involves installation of 27 units of 4-KW off-grid hybrid solar systems at District Headquarter Jhang (estimated cost Rs. 27,729,000), Lot 02 covers 4 units at Sub-division Ahmad Pur Sial (Rs. 4,110,000), and Lot 03 includes 6 units at Sub-division Shorkot (Rs. 6,162,000). The project aims to enhance energy sustainability and reduce operational costs for court facilities in the region.
Eligible bidders must be well-reputed, financially sound firms with previous experience in solar system installation and must be registered with Income Tax, Sales Tax, Professional Tax, PRA, and Pakistan Engineering Council. Bidders are required to submit bid security at 5% of the estimated cost in the form of CDR, bank guarantee, or pay order from any scheduled bank. The successful bidder will be required to deposit an additional 10% performance guarantee. All rate quotations must be inclusive of all applicable taxes including GST, PST, PRA, and income tax, with validity of 60 days.
Bid documents are available on the E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (E-PADS), the PPRA website at https://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/activetenders.aspx, and the District Court website at https://jhang.dc.lhc.gov.pk/. Electronic bids must be submitted through E-PADS before the closing time of 12:30 P.M. on 17 June 2026, and will be opened at 01:00 P.M. the same day. Bids will follow the Single Stage-Two Envelope Bidding Procedure as per Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014.
