Description / Scope of Work
Punjab Power Development Company Limited (PPDCL), operating under the Energy Department, Government of the Punjab, invites sealed electronic bids for the manufacturing and supply of twelve inner bushings and ten outer bushings for the guide vanes of a 2.82 megawatt hydro turbine at Pakpattan Hydro Power Plant. The estimated contract value is PKR 1,560,000, and this procurement follows a single stage one envelope national competitive bidding procedure. The project is located at Pakpattan Hydro Power Plant in Punjab province and aims to support the operation and maintenance of hydro generation infrastructure as established under Section 32 of the Companies Ordinance 1984.
Bidders must be active taxpayers registered on the e-Punjab Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) and simultaneously registered with both the Income Tax and Sales Tax departments of Pakistan. A bid security of PKR 78,000 (representing five percent of the estimated amount) is required and must be submitted in the form of a bank guarantee, call deposit receipt, pay order, or demand draft made payable to Punjab Power Development Company Limited. The original bid security document must be submitted physically to the General Manager (P&C) at the PPDCL office before the electronic bid submission deadline.
