Description / Scope of Work

Punjab Building Department invites sealed e-tenders from engineering firms and contractors for maintenance and repair works to various government educational and agricultural institutions across Sargodha Division. The tender comprises ten individual projects with estimated costs ranging from 0.470 million to 0.599 million Pakistani rupees, including repair and maintenance works at Government Graduate College for Women Bhakkar, Government Graduate College Bhakkar, Government Associate College for Women Dulle Wala, Government Boys College at Behal, Government Girls College at Jandan Wala, and offices of the Deputy Director Agriculture Extension in Bhakkar. The work scope includes scraping and painting, distemper application, weather shielding, tile work, electrical installations, wood work, door and MS grill installation, and tuff paver road and terrace construction. All projects are located in Punjab province with a completion time limit of one month for each work package.

Eligibility requirements mandate that participating contractors and engineering firms must hold valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and codes, and must be registered on the Punjab PPRA e-procurement portal at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Bidders are required to submit a Call Deposit Receipt as earnest money equal to five percent of the estimated project cost in the name of the Executive Engineer Buildings Division Bhakkar. The earnest money receipt must be uploaded with the electronic bid and the original document submitted to the Tender Opening Committee half an hour before bid opening. False information or fake documentation will result in disqualification and referral to Pakistan Engineering Council and PPRA for legal action. Upon contract award, the successful bidder must furnish a ten percent performance guarantee within fifteen days in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt or bank guarantee.

Bidders must download tender documents and submit complete financial bids through the PPRA E-Tendering System portal, with all rate entries against each item of the Detailed Estimate and Bill of Quantities filled completely. Incomplete bids with blank entries or missing rate analysis pages will be declared non-responsive. Bids will be opened on 17.06.2026 at 11:00 AM at the office of the Commissioner Sargodha Division, with quoted rates and successful bidders announced at 11:30 AM the same day in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee. The Grievance Redressed Committee has been established to address bidder complaints in accordance with PPRA Rules 2014.
