Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Masstransit Authority (PMA) invites Prequalification Applications from experienced Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to participate in the procurement and supply of nine (09) pure electric city buses of 9 meter length, along with associated slow and fast chargers, spare parts, tools, and diagnostic equipment for the Lahore Division in Punjab. All equipment shall be supplied with warranty as per the Prequalification Document. The scope includes manufacture and supply of the complete electric bus fleet with full charging infrastructure support for operations in Lahore.
Successful applicants upon project award will be required to fulfill full obligations related to service performance, including maintenance supervision, driver and maintenance training programs, vehicle homologation incorporating all support services, registration, licensing and related services for each bus as detailed in the Prequalification Document. Interested firms and manufacturers must submit their Prequalification Applications electronically on the PPRA Portal via the Electronic Procurement and Disposal System (EPADS) at https://punjab.eproc.gov.pk/ on or before 1st July 2026 at 1230 hours PST. The EPADS portal will be opened on the same day at 1230 hours PST, and in case of an official holiday on the day of opening, the next business day will be treated as the closing date.
Bidders must register their firms on the PPRA Portal EPADS for guidance on registration and contact the Procuring Agency at 051-111-137-237. The Prequalification Document can be downloaded from the PPRA website at https://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/ViewTender.aspx. The Punjab Masstransit Authority reserves the right to reject any bid or application prior to acceptance in light of Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 as amended. All bid evaluation and response time shall be calculated exclusively from the publication date on the PPRA website.
