Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Masstransit Authority (PMA) invites prequalification applications from experienced Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) for the procurement and supply of nine (9) meter pure electric city buses, along with associated slow and fast charging infrastructure, spare parts, tools, and diagnostic equipment, for induction of eco-friendly buses in the Lahore Division of Punjab. The project represents a significant step toward sustainable public transport in Lahore and comprises complete bus supply, infrastructure installation, and comprehensive support services valued according to the prequalification document scope.
Successful applicants upon project award will be required to manufacture and supply the pure electric city buses of nine meter capacity with associated slow and fast chargers, spare parts, tools, and diagnostic equipment, all with warranty as per the prequalification document. Additionally, successful bidders must fulfill all obligations related to service performance, including maintenance supervision, driver and maintenance training programs, vehicle homologation covering all support services, registration, licensing, and related services for each bus as detailed in the prequalification document.
Interested manufacturers must submit prequalification applications electronically via the PPRA Portal at e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk/ on or before 16 July 2026 at 1700 hours (PST). The portal will open on the same day at 1200 hours (PST). Registrations must be completed on the EPADS portal for guidance; applicants should contact PMA's Procurement Agency Unit at 051-111-137-237. Prequalification applications submitted after the closing date and time shall not be entertained. The prequalification document is available for download from the PMA website at http://eprocure.punjab.gov.pk/ViewTender.aspx with response time calculated from publication date. Terms, conditions, and procedures are detailed in the prequalification document, with technical and financial bids to follow in accordance with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014.
