Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan International Airlines invites sealed bids from eligible service providers for the provision of Ground Feeding Services (Meal Services) to Transit, Delayed and Diverted flight passengers at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi. The contract is for three years with further extension possible on mutual consent upon successful completion. Hotels and restaurants must be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and listed on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue. The service scope encompasses meal provision for passengers experiencing delays or diversions, requiring quality food service delivery at the airport location in Karachi, Sindh.
Eligible bidders must submit a tender fee of PKR 15,000 (non-refundable) and bid security of PKR 100,000 through a pay order payable to Pakistan International Airlines. The bid security must be valid for 180 days from the tender opening date. Upon contract award, successful bidders must deposit an additional PKR 1,000,000 as performance guarantee or security deposit. All bids must be submitted through the PPRA E-PADS electronic procurement platform, with mandatory manual submission of hard copies including original pay orders addressed to the Station Manager.
Bidding documents containing detailed terms and conditions are available electronically for download from the PIA website (www.piac.com.pk), PPRA website (www.ppra.org.pk), and PPRA E-PADS (https://eprocure.gov.pk/#/auth/login). Bidders must register at E-PADS to access tender documents and submit electronic bids. All bids must be submitted on or before 19th June 2026 at 11:00 hours PST, with opening scheduled for 11:30 hours the same day through E-PADS.
