Description / Scope of Work
The Public Health Engineering Division Bahawalpur invites sealed competitive bids from registered Engineering Firms and Contractors for execution of thirteen infrastructure projects valued between Rs 1.12 crore and Rs 5.32 crore. The scope includes provision and laying of tuft tiles, sewerage systems, water supply pipeline networks, construction of soling and culverts, and installation of sallage carriers and RCC pipes across multiple locations in Bahawalpur District. Projects are distributed across various union councils and villages in Bahawalpur and surrounding areas, with bid costs ranging from Rs 28,03,700 to Rs 53,27,300 and corresponding bid security amounts from Rs 1,40,185 to Rs 26,70,800.
Intending contractors and engineering firms must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in relevant categories (CE-01, CE-09, CE-10, FBR and PPRA) and hold valid PEC registration valid for 2025-26 or later. Firms must register on the Punjab PPRA e-procurement portal at www.punjab.eproc.net.pk prior to bid submission. Earnest money in the form of CDR must be submitted at five percent of estimated cost to the Executive Engineer PHE Division Bahawalpur at least one hour before tender opening. All financial bids must be complete with detailed item-wise rate analysis and cost summaries without any blank entries or cutting and overwriting.
Bids will be received through the Punjab PPRA e-tendering system in line with amended PPRA rules. Pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 11 June 2026 at 10:00 AM at the office of Executive Engineer PHE Department near Pul Fordwah Canal. Bids will be retrieved and rates quoted on 22 June 2026 at 01:00 PM by the office of Director Development and Finance Bahawalpur Division, with successful bidders announced at 02:00 PM on the same date.
