Description / Scope of Work
The Municipal Committee Ghakhar, Punjab, invites sealed tenders for the installation of a submersible pump at the disposal station Mohalla Noor Pura under the ADP 2025-26 budget allocation. This project is estimated at Rs 2.1 million and is based on the MRS 1st bi-annual 2026 estimation framework. The work falls under the financial year 2025-26 and is open to registered contractors enrolled on E-PADs and the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and codes. This is a percentage or item rate tender for works to be executed in accordance with PPRA Rules 2017.
Eligible bidders must be registered contractors on E-PADs and Pakistan Engineering Council with appropriate category and codes. All intending contractors and firms are required to upload earnest money as a CDR in favor of Municipal Committee Ghakhar at 5% of the estimated cost. The original CDR must be submitted to the Tender Opening Committee half an hour before bid opening; failure to do so will result in disqualification of the tender. Bidders offering rates more than 4.99% below the T.S estimated cost must deposit additional performance security as per PPRA/Works Rules 2017. Forged documents or CDRs will result in legal action against contractors and participants.
Bid documents shall be uploaded on the EPAD Dashboard by 22 June 2026 at 10:00 AM and will be opened at the Office of Municipal Committee Ghakhar on the same day at 12:00 PM in the presence of contractors or their representatives. The method of selection will be least cost. Contractors are bound to perform works in accordance with PPRA Rules. Advertisement and tender notice details are available on the PPRA website.
