Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Engineering Council Islamabad invites sealed bids through Single Stage–Two Envelopes (SSTE) bidding procedure for the procurement of works comprising two separate packages. Package 1 involves construction and restoration of a community center at Gurdwara Baba Lila Sahib in District Nankana Sahib with an estimated cost of PKR 28,633,596 and completion period of 12 months. Package 2 covers construction of a community center at Agarwal Ashram in District Lahore with an estimated cost of PKR 28,158,836 and the same 12-month timeline. Both packages are in Punjab province and require contractors holding a valid Category C-5 or above registration with Pakistan Engineering Council.
Prospective bidders must possess a valid C-5 or above category license from Pakistan Engineering Council to be eligible for bidding on either package. Earnest money (bid security) is required at 2 percent of the estimated cost for each package: PKR 572,672 for Package 1 and PKR 563,176 for Package 2. Bidders must submit their bids in the prescribed format following the standard form of bidding documents issued by PEC, with separate sealed envelopes for technical and financial proposals as per the SSTE procedure guidelines.
Bid documents are available from Pakistan Engineering Council Islamabad and may be obtained upon request. Sealed bids must be submitted to the specified office on or before the deadline announced in the tender notice. Bid opening will take place at the office of Pakistan Engineering Council on the date and time specified in the instructions to bidders.
