Description / Scope of Work
The Lahore Development Authority invites sealed bids for the provision of a surface drainage system along Main Boulevard S-3 of LDA Avenue-I Housing Scheme in Lahore, Punjab. The project is estimated at Rs. 143,014,083 with a total cost of Rs. 150,164,787 including 5% PST, and encompasses comprehensive drainage infrastructure, horticultural works, and landscaping development over a period of five months. The scope includes maintenance of drains with pacca brick work and cement pointing, desilting of disposal and collection tanks, reinforced cement concrete works for roof slabs and beams, fabrication of mild steel structures, and extensive landscaping features throughout the Main Boulevard.
The project incorporates substantial horticulture and plantation works featuring the provision and plantation of various trees including Brachi Kiton, Tabobibia, Buda, Jacaranda, Amaltas, and Gul-e-Nashtar species, along with colorful flowering bushes such as Aklifa, Silvery, Plumbago, Euphorbia, Chandni, and Alpania. Additional components include recharging wells with thirteen numbers of wells requiring excavation, dry sinking up to fifty feet depth, RCC works, and catch pits totaling twenty-four numbers with complete specifications for excavation, PCC foundation, RCC slabs, steel fabrication, brick work, cement plastering, and PVC/uPVC pipeline installation. The project also mandates employment of nine laborers (Mali) for five months as per Punjab Housing Authority rules.
Bidders must submit earnest money of Rs. 7,508,239 along with their sealed bids. Interested contractors should obtain the bid documents from the issuing authority and submit proposals before the closing date. The bid will be opened as per procurement rules, and the contractor must provide valid registration with relevant authorities and relevant experience in similar infrastructure projects. All works must be completed in strict accordance with specified technical standards and quality requirements outlined in the bid schedule.
