Town Municipal Corporation Manghopir (West) Karachi invites sealed tender bids for providing, fixing, repair and maintenance of street lights system in Holly Occasion at Imam Bargah Hur and surrounding areas of TMC Manghopir (West) Karachi, Sindh. The estimated cost of work is Rs. 1,998,990 with a project duration of 45 days and a daily penalty of Rs. 500. The scope includes laying main and sub-main PVC insulated copper conductors (3,950 meters), providing and fixing 10-amp switches (250 units), moon lights with 40-watt LED bulbs (250 units), IPC connectors (750 units), LED flood lights 200-watt Phillips (16 units), and PVC tape for connections. This is a comprehensive electrical installation and maintenance project for street lighting infrastructure.
Eligible bidders must possess a valid PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) registration in category C-06 and above with relevant electrical field specialization, valid NTN certificate, professional tax certificate, SRB certificate, valid bank statement, and at least three years of relevant experience in electrical work. Bidders must hold a valid Sindh Government Electrical Contractor License as per Rule 48 of the Electricity Rules 1937. The bid security of 5% of the estimated cost (Rs. 2,000) must be submitted as a pay order or bank guarantee in favor of TMC (West). The successful bidder will furnish an additional 5% performance guarantee at the time of agreement, and 5% retention money will be deducted from the contract value, released after completion of the maintenance period.
Tender documents are issued upon submission of application on original letterhead along with a pay order of Rs. 2,000 for tender cost in favor of TMC (West). Applications and tender issuance are received from 07-06-2026 to 22-06-2026 during office hours at TMC Manghopir (West) Office, Gram Chesham. Sealed tenders must be dropped by 12:00 PM on 22-06-2026 at the Executive Engineer (M&E) Office, where opening will occur at 12:30 PM on the same day. Bidders may be present during opening.
