Description / Scope of Work
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) invites sealed tenders for a public infrastructure development project in Islamabad, Federal Pakistan. The project involves detailed civil construction work including planning, design, and execution of various classes of construction activities. The tender documents contain complete specifications, schedules of quantities for different work classes, and standard contract conditions. Tender documents are available on CDA Form W-7 from the office of the Deputy Director (Civil) in Islamabad upon payment of the specified fee in cash, which is non-refundable. The time allowed for carrying out the work will be mentioned in the tender form issued to the successful bidder.
Eligibility requires contractors to submit sealed tenders with all necessary documentation including power of attorney, partnership deed if applicable, programme of work, non-relationship certificate, income tax registration certificate, non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 10 denomination, firm registration, and professional tax certificate. The earnest money must be deposited as a sealed cover superscribed tender for the above work and addressed to CDA Islamabad. Contractors must provide security for due fulfillment consisting of five percent deduction from monthly payments, with the earnest money attached as part of security. The contractor must confirm that no member of the firm holds any financial interest in CDA's profits or has relations with gazetted officers of CDA or Works Division.
Tender documents will be issued to contractors upon production of call deposit in favour of CDA. Tenders should be placed in sealed covers with the work name clearly written on the envelope and received at the office of the Deputy Director (Civil) on the scheduled date and time. The acceptance of tender rests with the D/D(C) who reserves the right to distribute work between multiple contractors and reject any or all tenders. Tenders will be accepted within ninety days from the opening date. The contractor should submit two extra copies of tender documents along with the main tender.
