Description / Scope of Work
The Capital Development Authority, Maintenance Division Civil, Aiwan-e-Sadr invites tenders for providing, fixing and replacement of aluminum sliding windows and broken glass in different rooms at 1st and 2nd floors of Cabinet Block in Islamabad. This maintenance project aims to restore and upgrade window installations across multiple offices within the Cabinet Block facility located in Islamabad, Federal Territory. The estimated NIT amount is Rs. 3,723,080 with earnest money requirement of Rs. 111,692, and the contract duration is one month for completion of all works. The scope includes complete provision of aluminum sliding windows, fixing of new installations, and replacement of damaged or broken glass panels to ensure functional and aesthetic compliance across designated areas.
Eligible contractors must submit required documents including Power of Attorney, Partnership deed, Programme of work, Non-relationship certificate, Income Tax Registration certificate, Non-Judicial Stamp paper worth Rs. 10, Registration of Firm, and Professional tax certificate. Bid security will be furnished through deduction of 5 percent from monthly payments, and earnest money must be deposited in the form of call deposit at the office of the Divisional Officer in Islamabad. The tender form is available on CDA Form No. CDA/W-6 and can be obtained from the office of Divisional Officer on payment of Rs. 500 in cash, which is non-refundable. Tenderers are required to submit two complete sets of tender documents in sealed covers with the name of work clearly marked.
Tenders will be opened by the Divisional Officer on the same day and time as specified in the NIT published in the Cabinet Block office. Contractors must quote prices in both figures and words, with the percentage and total amount written in the same language. Acceptance of tender rests with CDA management, which reserves the right to reject any or all tenders received. Tenders will be accepted within ninety days from the date of opening, and those declining the work will be refunded their earnest money.
