Description / Scope of Work
The National Grid Company of Pakistan (NGC), formerly known as NTDC, invites sealed bids for the construction of a boundary wall along with a main entrance gate around the NGC microwave site located at Kot Mithan in Punjab. This single-stage, two-envelope procurement is being undertaken under NGC's own resources with an estimated contract value of PKR 375,000.00. The project scope encompasses the complete construction of perimeter boundary walls and installation of the main entrance gate to secure the microwave transmission facility. Eligible bidders are firms and individuals licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council in the appropriate category and registered with Federal and Provincial Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments who are also on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue and the relevant Provincial Revenue Authority.
Bid security is required in the form of a deposit at call or bank guarantee issued by a scheduled bank in Pakistan in favour of the Executive Engineer Civil GSO, valid for twenty-eight days beyond the bid validity date. All bidders must fill in the checklist provided before submission of bids, which is a mandatory requirement. The competent authority reserves the right to reject all bids and annul the bidding process at any time prior to contract award as per clause 33(1) of the Public Procurement Rules 2004.
Bids must be submitted exclusively through e-PADS on or before 22 June 2026 at 11:00 am, with bid security in original hard copy format submitted before the bidding deadline. Technical bids will be opened at 11:30 am on the same day in the presence of bidder representatives who choose to attend.
