Description / Scope of Work
The Capital Development Authority (CDA), Maintenance Division Civil, Aiwan-e-Sadr, invites competitive tenders for the replacement of floor tiles in the 4th floor corridor and miscellaneous maintenance works in rooms 4035 and 2178 of the Cabinet Division at Cabinet Block, Islamabad. The total NIT amount is Rs. 4,542,744 with an earnest money requirement of Rs. 136,282. This project encompasses specialized civil works including floor tile replacement and associated maintenance activities at the federal capital's sensitive administrative location. The scope includes detailed specifications and schedules of quantities for various classes of work to be completed in accordance with contract conditions.
Contractors must submit tenders on CDA Form W/7, available from the office of the Project Director upon payment of Rs. (amount not specified) as non-refundable fee. Bidders should quote both in figures and words, with the total tender amount in the language in which the tender is submitted. The earnest money of Rs. 136,282 must be deposited in the shape of a deposit receipt which will be treated as part of security. Contractors are required to provide a power of attorney, partnership deed if applicable, programme of work, non-relationship certificate, income tax registration certificate, and professional tax certificate. Security deposit comprising five percent deduction from monthly payments will be required for contract fulfillment.
Sealed tenders must be submitted to the CDA office on the scheduled opening date with the work title clearly written on the envelope. Tenders will be received and opened by CDA on the specified date at 11:30 AM in the office. The acceptance of tender rests with the CDA, which reserves the right to distribute work between multiple contractors and reject any tender. Contractors must provide evidence of labor employment, submit two additional copies of tender documents, and comply with all conditions outlined in the tender notice. No escalation will be paid to contractors, and rates quoted are considered final and inclusive of all increases in material and labour costs.
