Description / Scope of Work
The Capital Development Authority invites sealed tenders for construction and development works through CDA Form W-6 under the Central Public Department Code Paragraphs 88-89. The procurement covers detailed plans, complete specifications, schedules of quantities of work to be done, and conditions of contract to be completed by bidders. The tender documents are available at the CDA Divisional Office during office hours on working days, obtainable upon payment of rupees 50 in cash as non-refundable amount. Tender envelopes must be sealed with the name of work written clearly and submitted to the Deputy Director CDA Islamabad on the specified date and time without fail. The earnest money, comprising a figure amount in rupees, must be deposited in the shape of call deposit receipt attached with tender documents and each tender must be in a sealed cover superscribed for Islamabad.
Contractors must submit tenders on CDA Form W-7 with all required certifications including Power of Attorney, partnership deed, programme of work, non-relationship certificate, Income Tax Registration certificate, non-judicial stamp paper worth rupees 10, firm registration, and professional tax certificate. Tenderers should quote both in figures and words, with undertakings that no member of the firm has financial interest in its profits and losses, nor holds position as a gazetted officer or Assistant Director of CDA or related organization. The contractor whose tender is accepted must furnish security consisting of deduction of five percent from monthly payments for due fulfillment of contract.
The acceptance of tender rests with the Deputy Director CDA, who does not bind themselves to accept the lowest tender and reserves the right to reject any or all tenders received. Tenders will be accepted within ninety days from the date of opening, failing which the contractor, if not willing to carry out the work, will be entitled to refund of earnest money. Two extra copies of tender documents must be submitted without which no tender will be entertained. The contractor should not stipulate any additional conditions and tendering contains additional documents for submission while applying for tender documents from the office.
