Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer Building Division Sahiwal, under the Communication and Works Department of Punjab Building Department (Central Zone), invites item-rate tenders for the establishment of a School for Midwifery at DHDCs and selected THQ hospitals, with the primary site location at DHDC Sahiwal. The project has an estimated cost of Rs. 12,603,646 with a completion period of 12 months. This is a significant healthcare infrastructure development initiative in Punjab province aimed at enhancing midwifery training capacity in the Sahiwal district. The tender is open to contractors and firms currently enlisted or renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the ongoing financial year in the relevant category.
Prospective bidders must submit earnest money (bid security) in the form of a bank CDR amounting to 5% of the estimated cost, which equals Rs. 630,183, to the office of the Executive Engineer before the bid submission deadline. Conditional tenders and bids submitted without the required earnest money will be rejected outright. All bidders must be registered with PEC and maintain current membership status throughout the bidding and execution process. Technical and financial qualifications will be evaluated as per standard procurement rules and departmental guidelines.
Complete e-bids must be submitted online through the e-Procurement System (EPADS) portal at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk with a submission deadline of 23 June 2026 at 11:00 AM and opening on the same date at 11:30 AM. Original bid security instruments must be physically delivered to the office of the Executive Engineer, Buildings Division, Sahiwal in an envelope clearly marked with the bidding document number and title before the e-bid submission deadline.
