Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer Provincial Highway Division Khairpur invites sealed bids for the construction of surface drains, paver block, concrete block and culverts at UC Rahooja and UC Manghanhwari in Taluka Kingri, along with reconditioning of road from Ahmedpur Manghanwari Road to Chatan Shah spanning 3.00 kilometres in Taluka Kingri, District Khairpur Mir's, Sindh province. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 99.2232 million with a contract period of 12 months from the written order to commence work. This infrastructure development project aims to improve drainage systems and road conditions in the specified areas of Khairpur district.
Bidders must submit a bid security of 5 percent (Rs. 4.96116 million) as security for due performance of their bid obligations. A security deposit of 10 percent (Rs. 9.92232 million) is required upon contract award. Deductions from bills will include 18 percent income tax, 8 percent Sindh Revenue Board tax, and 5 percent plus 5 percent security deposit. The bid must remain valid for 90 days from the date of opening. Liquidity damages are calculated at 10 percent of estimated cost divided by 0.25 times 547 days completion time, with the total not exceeding 10 percent of the contract amount.
Sealed bids must be submitted by 29 June 2026 to the Executive Engineer Provincial Highway Division Khairpur. The bid opening will take place on the same date.
