Sukkur Electric Power Company invites sealed electronic bids for the disposal of unserviceable and scrap material through the E-PADS (e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System) Version 2.0 platform. The tender, referenced as SEPCO 1390/26 for the year 2025-2026, covers a comprehensive range of items including damaged mobile phones (129 units), old or damaged tyres of off-size (142 units), damaged batteries of off-size (126 kg across 7 units), plastic scrap (179 kg), wooden scrap of off-size (10,500 kg), iron scrap mixture (4,313 kg), and structure steel HT/LT damaged off-size unserviceable items (6,062 kg from 42 units and 913 kg from 13 units). The scrap materials are stored at SEPCO's Regional Stores in Rohri and Larkana, Sindh, and are offered on an as-is-where-is basis without dispute.
Bidders must be tax registered members of the general public or companies eligible to participate in this national open competitive bidding process conducted under the Single Stage One Envelope Procedure as per the Disposal of Public Assets Regulations, 2024. A mandatory bid security of Rs. 163,805 is required in the form of a Demand Draft, Pay Order, or Bank Guarantee issued by a scheduled bank of Pakistan, valid for 150 days from the tender opening date. The bid value must remain valid for 120 days from the tender opening date. Bidders should note that all applicable government taxes, including Income Tax and GST, will be borne by the successful bidder as per Federal Board of Revenue policy.
Bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, and specifications are available for download through the EPADS v2.0 platform at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/. Vendors not yet registered on the new EPADS version can complete their registration at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/ with tutorial guidance available online. Electronic bids must be submitted by 10:30 AM on 29 June 2026, and bids will be opened electronically on the same day at 12:30 PM. The bid security envelope must be clearly marked with the tender number and submitted physically to the office of the Chief Executive Officer, SEPCO Sukkur, before the e-bid submission deadline.
