Upgradation and Replacement of SSWIM Weigh Equipment by National Highway Authority

The National Highway Authority invites e-bids for the upgradation and replacement of defective parts of existing permanent SSWIM weigh equipment already installed on national highways and motorways across Pakistan. This procurement is conducted under tender reference PWS-0-1 through the NHA e-Bidding System, with bidding available nationwide on all federal highways and motorways. The project requires authorized dealers of Original Equipment Manufacturers with valid PEC licenses to ensure quality standards and technical compliance for weigh bridge equipment maintenance and replacement services.

Eligible bidders must be registered with the Income Tax department and listed as active taxpayers with the Federal Board of Revenue. Bidders must be OEM-authorized vendors holding valid PEC licenses. The procurement follows a Single Stage Two Envelope procedure. Hard copies of e-proposals must be received by 30 June 2026 at 1100 hours at the NHA office. The bidders providing unsubstantiated or incorrect information shall be liable to disqualification and legal action. All prospective bidders are advised to obtain EPADS registration through www.eprocure.gov.pk immediately, as manual hard copy bids will be eliminated in upcoming procurements.

Request for e-Proposals documents containing detailed terms, conditions, bid validity, evaluation criteria, and submission instructions will be available on the NHA e-Bidding website from 09 June 2026. Technical e-proposals submitted through the NHA e-Bidding system will be opened on 30 June 2026 at 1130 hours. Bidders should regularly monitor the NHA website for updates and any addendums.
