For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
EPZA seeks installation of two 125-ton weighbridges at Karachi EPZ—a medium-scale, fixed-location civil/mechanical integration project.
Key consideration: stringent PEC C-V eligibility and tax registration requirements suggest this favors established contractors. The August 2026 deadline appears reasonable for procurement and site installation. One-off facility upgrade with no indication of future repeat contracts. Portal submission via EPADS adds procedural complexity; ensure portal access confirmed early.
Who can bid: Bidders must hold PEC category C-V or higher (civil engineering), current ATL (income tax), and valid Sales Tax registration for FY 2025-2026. Typically, SECP registration (if pvt/public company) and NTN are required; confirm exact status requirements with EPZA. Foreign bidders status not stated.
