Description / Scope of Work
The Irrigation Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, through the Tubewell Irrigation Division Peshawar, invites electronic bids from eligible firms and contractors for restoration, rehabilitation and improvement of canal system irrigation infrastructure in Peshawar irrigation circle. The tender comprises four major solar solarization projects totalling approximately Rs 50.81 million, including solarization of irrigation tubewells and augmentation works across various locations in District Peshawar during the 2025-2026 financial year. The work scope covers modernization of irrigation delivery systems through solar power implementation, enhancing operational efficiency and sustainability of water resource management in the KPK province.
Bidders must be registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority and hold appropriate professional engineering credentials as specified in the PEC relevant codes and categories, including CE-09, CE-10, EE-11, and ME-07 certifications. A bid security of 2% of the estimated cost must be submitted in the form of a call deposit with scheduled banks only, submitted before the closing deadline. Electronic bidding shall follow the above-below system methodology based on the engineer's estimate.
Bid solicitation documents are available for download from the department website (www.irrigation.gkp.pk) and the KPPRA portal (www.kppra.gov.pk). Submissions must be made electronically through the E-PAD system in accordance with KPPRA Procurement Rules 2014. All notifications and procedural updates issued by KPPRA shall remain applicable throughout the procurement process. In case of equal evaluated bids from two or more bidders, the successful contractor shall be determined through draw or toss method.
