Description / Scope of Work
The Superintendent of Central Jail Minawar Gilgit invites sealed bids from experienced and registered firms for the supply of diet items for prisoners during the financial year 2026-27. The tender is issued for the provision of food and nutritional supplies required for the prison population in Gilgit, Gilgit Baltistan. Interested firms must obtain the tender form from the office of the superintendent during office hours upon payment of Rs. 10,000 non-refundable fee as per GB Finance Act regulations.
Bidders must be experienced and registered firms with relevant licenses to supply food items for institutional use. A call deposit amount of Rs. 1,050,000 from any scheduled bank must be attached with the bidding documents. All bids must be sealed and submitted to the undersigned office by 11:00 AM on 24th June 2026 through post, courier service, or by hand. No tender shall be entertained after the deadline.
The bids will be opened at 11:30 AM on the same day in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives at the office of the superintendent. Interested contractors may contact the Central Jail Minawar Gilgit during official office hours for further clarification. The superintendent reserves the right to postpone the tender proceedings on administrative or other grounds at their discretion.
