Description / Scope of Work
The Local Government Election & Rural Development Department, District Lakki Marwat, is inviting sealed tenders for a Beautification Scheme at Tehsil Ghazni Khel, Lakki Marwat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The project has an estimated cost of PKR 2.20 million and is being procured under the MRS-2025 (1st Bi-annual) framework. This developmental work is part of the 2025-26 Annual Development Programme and will be executed through a Single Stage Single Envelope bidding procedure. The tender is open to government contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and enlisted with the Civil & Works Department as per the Centralized Enlistment Policy of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the current financial year.
Eligible bidders must hold active PEC and KPPRA registration (as active taxpayers) valid for the current financial year and possess relevant codes as per Pakistan Engineering Council standards. Contractors are required to submit bid security equivalent to 2 percent of the estimated cost. Bidders quoting 10 to 20 percent below the engineer's estimate must provide an additional 8 percent security, while those quoting more than 20 percent below must submit detailed rate analysis and additional security equal to the differential amount. The tender documents, including tender form and Bill of Quantities (BOQ), can be downloaded from the official website www.lgkp.gov.pk one day after the Notice of Invitation is published.
Electronic bids must be submitted online through the e-bidding system with scanned copies of bid security in the form of original call deposits made in the name of the procuring entity. Hard copies of the printed electronic bid must accompany the original call deposits. The deadline for electronic bid submission is 24 June 2025 at 12:30 PM, with bids to be opened on 24 June 2026 at 1:00 PM. Sealed bids received via fax or hand delivery will not be accepted; bids must reach via registered mail or courier by the specified deadline. All applicable taxes will be recoverable as per government directives.
