Description / Scope of Work
Tubewells Irrigation Division Peshawar, operating under the Peshawar Irrigation Department of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites electronic bids from eligible firms and contractors for restoration, rehabilitation and improvement of canal system irrigation infrastructure in Peshawar Irrigation Circle under ADP No. 2100/250212 during fiscal year 2025-26. The procurement covers four solarization and augmentation projects for irrigation tubewells across District Peshawar with a combined estimated cost of approximately 50.21 million rupees. Project scope includes solarization of 04 nos irrigation tubewell JUE Shiekh Hazar Khani Branch in District Peshawar, solarization of 02 nos irrigation tubewell at Warsak Lift Canal Section District Peshawar, solarization of 04 nos irrigation tubewell TKM Section in District Peshawar, and solarization of 05 nos irrigation tubewell at Village Akori and Nizampur in District Peshawar. All projects fall under civil engineering categories CE-09, CE-10, EE-11 and ME-07 as per PEC relevant codes.
All bidders are required to hold current registration with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority and must submit a 2 percent bid security of the estimated cost as call deposit in original form from scheduled banks only. Bid security of the first, second and third responsive lowest bidders will be retained by the employer till approval of bids by competent authority. Eligible contractors must comply with KPPRA Procurement Rules 2014 for single stage single envelope electronic bidding procedure. The bidding shall be conducted on an above or below system based on bill of quantities or engineer's estimate.
Bid solicitation documents containing complete terms, conditions and relevant instructions may be downloaded from the department and KPPRA websites at www.irrigation.gkp.pk and www.kppra.gov.pk. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 23 June 2026 at 12:00 PM in the office of the Executive Engineer, Tubewells Irrigation Division Peshawar. The final date and time for submission of bids along with all relevant documents is 30 June 2026 up to 12:00 PM, with opening scheduled for 01:30 PM on the same day in the office of the undersigned in presence of contractors and their representatives. Any further information regarding the tender may be obtained from the office of the undersigned on any working day prior to the bid opening date.
