Description / Scope of Work
District Council Jamshoro invites electronic bids from eligible and qualified contractors and firms for the execution of twelve development schemes across various locations in Jamshoro District, Sindh Province. The projects comprise construction of community centre blocks, paver blocks, and installation of deep hand pump boring systems at multiple union councils. Total bid amounts range from PKR 2,492,900 to PKR 2,499,000 per individual work, with earnest money requirements of 5% and completion periods of 12 months. Works are distributed across villages and union councils including Taluka Shehwan and Taluka Kotri, with scope extending to street construction and water infrastructure development in rural areas of Jamshoro.
Bidders must meet mandatory qualification requirements including active registration with the Income Tax Department and Sindh Revenue Board, valid CNIC copies of owners or proprietors, and an authenticated affidavit on e-stamp confirming no involvement in litigation or blacklisting by procurement agencies. Bid security of 5% must be submitted as a call deposit from any scheduled bank in favour of District Council Jamshoro before the closing deadline. Technical evaluation will be conducted as per prescribed eligibility proformas, with bidders required to qualify all mandatory requirements and achieve 75% passing marks on technical evaluation. Tenderers must provide company profile, evidence of two ongoing and two completed similar works within three years, machinery and equipment details, technical staff qualifications, and bank statements confirming financial capacity.
Bidding documents can be obtained or downloaded from the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System portal. First attempt submission deadline is 29 June 2026 up to 11:00 AM with bid opening on the same day at 11:30 AM at the Office of District Council Jamshoro, Gulshan-e-Shabaz Colony near Old Toll Plaza. Bids submitted after the closing time will not be accepted. The procuring agency reserves the right to cancel the bidding process at any time without assigning reasons as per SPPRA Rule 25, and past non-performance or poor performance constitutes valid grounds for rejection.
