Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority (NHA) invites e-Proposals from eligible bidders registered with the Income Tax Department and listed on the active taxpayer list of the Federal Board of Revenue for the upgrade and replacement of defective parts of existing permanent SSIM weigh equipment already installed on national highways and motorways across Pakistan. This procurement is authorized by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) holding valid PEC licenses and pertains to critical infrastructure maintenance on Pakistan's national highway network. Bidders must be registered with PPRA, listed as active taxpayers, and hold valid PEC licenses for the specific category of work. The bidding process follows a Single Stage Two Envelopes Procedure with detailed terms and conditions available on the NHA e-Bidding portal at www.ebidding.nha.gov.pk from June 9, 2026. All proposals must be prepared and submitted through the NHA e-Bidding system in accordance with the RfPP documents provided. Hard copies of proposals generated through the e-Bidding system must reach the General Manager (Revenue) at NHA's 28-Mauve Area office in Sector G-9/1, Islamabad on or before June 30, 2026 at 1100 hours. Technical e-Proposals submitted through the e-Bidding system will be opened on the same day at 1130 hours. Bidders providing unsubstantiated or incorrect information shall be liable to disqualification and legal action.
