Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Hospital, Faisalabad invites sealed bids for a frame work contract of local purchase of medicines and disposable surgical items for the financial year 2026-27. The estimated contract value is 20 million Pakistani rupees, covering day-to-day and bulk supply requirements for the hospital located in Faisalabad, Punjab. This procurement is open to interested firms and agencies of repute with financially sound backgrounds involved in running institutional pharmacy businesses or chains of pharmacies, provided they possess a valid and renewed retail drug sale license Category A on Form-9 from the relevant authority.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the National Tax Number (NTN) and hold valid Sales Tax registration certificates. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding using a single-stage two-envelope procedure as specified in the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (amended to date). Separate bids must be submitted for multinational manufacturer medicines, local manufacturer medicines, and surgical or disposable items, with pricing based on maximum discount percentages from DRAP-fixed retail prices for medicines and market-evaluated prices for decontrolled surgical items. Bid security equivalent to two percent of the estimated budget must be submitted in the form of a CDR, pay order, or demand draft from a scheduled bank of Pakistan, valid for 90 days.
Bidding documents are available from the Account Office of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Hospital, Faisalabad upon submission of a written application and non-refundable tender fee of 1,000 Pakistani rupees. Documents are also available on the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk until the closing date of 23 June 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bids will be publicly opened at 11:30 AM on the same date in the office of the Medical Superintendent. Bidders should submit their best and final prices as negotiations are not expected.
