Description / Scope of Work
Tehsil Headquarter Hospital Jaranwala, located in District Faisalabad, Punjab, invites online bids through the EPADS (E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System) for a comprehensive framework contract covering financial year 2026-27. The procurement encompasses ten distinct lots with an aggregate estimated cost of approximately 34.5 million Pakistani rupees, including medicines, surgical and disposable items, dialysis medicines and consumables, pathology laboratory items and reagent kits, general store items, printing and stationery items, bedding and linen, X-ray films and chemicals, dental materials and instruments, and medical gases. The bidding is conducted under the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 as amended to date and follows an open competitive bidding procedure with single-stage two-envelope methodology.
Eligible bidders must be registered with income tax (NTN), GST, and PST authorities, and may include sole proprietors, partnerships, firms, or companies with relevant experience in medical supplies and procurement. Each lot requires separate bid submission with bid security equivalent to 2 percent of the estimated cost for that lot, to be submitted as a certified deposit receipt (CDR), pay order, demand draft, or banker's cheque from a scheduled bank of Pakistan. The bid security must remain valid for 180 days. Bidders are required to hold active NTN and sales tax PST and GST registration certificates. A performance guarantee of 5 percent of the contract value will be required from the successful bidder in the form of CDR or bank guarantee.
Bid documents are available free of cost from the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Bidders must submit bids online on EPADS on or before 20 June 2026 at 10:00 AM, accompanied by original CDR documentation submitted before the closing deadline. Technical bids will be opened on 22 June 2026 at 10:30 AM at the office of the Medical Superintendent, THQ Hospital Jaranwala.
