Description / Scope of Work
The Department of Nishtar Institute of Tenants (DNIT) invites sealed bids for the rehabilitation of the Area Development Scheme located in Farooquabad, Punjab. This comprehensive development project encompasses multiple civil works and infrastructure improvements including earthwork, aggregates supply, road surface treatment with bitumen, water supply pipeline installation, high-density polyethylene pipe replacement, trench backfilling, and installation of block valves and air valves for the water distribution network. The project scope also includes repairs to existing infrastructure such as OHRs, tubewell installations, electrical connections, and various sanitary works. The estimated tender value is Rs. 168,021 with a time limit of 9 months for project completion.
Bidders must meet standard eligibility criteria as prescribed by the procurement rules. Contractors are required to provide performance security in the form of bid security as specified in the tender documents. Only registered contractors with relevant experience in similar development schemes and water supply projects shall be eligible to submit bids. Professional credentials and previous project references demonstrating capability in civil construction and utilities installation are mandatory requirements.

Sealed bids must be submitted to the office of DNIT before the closing deadline of June 20, 2026. The bid opening will take place on the specified date and time at the DNIT office.
