Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Prisons Department, Government of the Punjab, invites sealed bids for the procurement of wheat (FAQ) through a single stage two envelopes procedure. The tender is for supply of 50,000 kilograms of wheat with an estimated tender value of Rs. 5,000,000 and bid security of Rs. 100,000. This procurement is for Central Jail, Rawalpindi, located on Main Adyala Road in Rawalpindi, Punjab. The goods are to be delivered as per specifications and schedule of requirements detailed in the bidding documents. Bidders are required to submit their bids online through the E-PADS portal maintained by Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority.
Eligible bidders include suppliers, firms, companies, sole proprietors, authorized dealers, authorized distributors, and general order suppliers registered with relevant authorities and with the EPADS portal of PPRA. Bidders must not be blacklisted by the Procuring Agency or PPRA, and government-owned enterprises may participate only if duly authorized by competent authority. A performance guarantee equivalent to 2 percent of the contract value in the form of CDR (Call Deposit Receipt) is required from successful bidders. Bidders must ensure all documentation is complete and meet technical specifications; incomplete bids will be disqualified.

Online bids must be submitted by 23 June 2026 at 2:00 PM through E-PADS portal, with opening scheduled for 2:30 PM on the same date.
