Description / Scope of Work
National Grid Company Limited (NGC), formerly NTDC, invites sealed bids for the procurement of Tools and Plants (T&P) and Measuring Instruments required for Operation and Maintenance of the ±660 KV HVDC Matiari-Lahore Transmission Line Project under Phase-I of the HVDC NGC Department. This tender is issued by the Manager (O&M) HVDC NGC North based in Lahore, Punjab and covers a single lot of tools, plants and measuring instruments necessary for the operational support and maintenance activities of this critical high-voltage direct current transmission infrastructure in Pakistan.
All prospective bidders must be registered with the EPADS (E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System) and submit proof of registration along with their application for bidding documents. Bidders are required to submit a Bid Security of not less than 2% of the Bid Quoted Price in the format prescribed in the bidding documents. The bidding process follows National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures under a Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding system as per PPRA Rules 2004.
Bidding documents are available for purchase at PKR 5,000 (non-refundable) in the form of pay order, bank draft or banker's cheque, or may be downloaded free of cost from www.ntdc.com.pk; however, purchase of the hard copy is mandatory for participation. Sealed bids must be submitted to Manager (O&M) HVDC NGC North, 214 Westwood Colony, Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore, Postal Code 54000, on or before 29 June 2026 at 11:00 am PST, with bid opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 am PST.
